Hotel Degerby - Lovisa

Guests enjoy a free breakfast buffet and sauna access at this peaceful hotel, which is centrally located in Loviisa, just a 1-hour drive from both Helsinki and the Russian border. Hotel Degerby’s bright guest rooms are decorated in a simple, subtle style with warm colours. Most rooms have bathrooms with a shower, while some include a bathtub. Many of the rooms have a TV and DVD player. Half of the rooms have windows facing the central park, while the others face a quiet courtyard. In addition to a private jacuzzi, Degerby’s stylish suites offer have a furnished balcony. The larger rooms are ideal for families and include a separate living room. Hotel Degerby’s delicious complimentary breakfast is served in the à la carte restaurant, Styrboard, which also offers a popular lunch buffet on weekdays. Here, guests can also choose between Mediterranean influenced cuisine and local dishes before having a coffee or cocktail in Cafe-Bar Babord. Smaller groups can enjoy dinners and banquets in the unique Degerby Gille, an inn dating back to the 17th century. In summer, try the famous Smörgåsbord, which includes local delicacies. Pub Alex offers a wide range of beers, while the attached Club Alexia is open until 04:00 three nights a week. Club Alexia is one of the newest night clubs in the region and entertainment is provided each night by DJs. Live music and stand-up comedy shows also take place every week.

Please note that check-in for the quadruple room is between 12:00 and 16:00. For arrivals outside of these hours, please contact the hotel reception in advance. The sauna is open daily, from 18:00 until 19:00 for women, and from 19:00 until 20:00 for men. Families can request a private sauna time outside the official opening hours, at an additional cost.
