Hostel Stadion - Helsinki

Hostel Stadion is the backpacker's home in Helsinki and is known for the best place to meet other travellers. Hostel Stadion is in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium just a short walk from the major city attractions. The guest rooms are comprised of large and spacious dormitories and include wide windows that overlook a central Helsinki park. The Olympic Stadium is surrounded by several sport and concert arenas and adjacent to the central Helsinki park. The Opera House and the Toolo Bay are close at hand while the Finnair Airport Bus and all domestic buses stop by the Opera House.

The 72 meter-high Olympic Stadium Tower is visible from almost anywhere in Helsinki. Just 18 km from Helsinki Airport where the Finnair bus stop at the Opera house and then the Hostel Stadion is simply a 500 meter walk away. Helsinki Railway Station is a 15 minute walk from there to our hostel. Take tram 3B in front of the railway station or trams 3T or 7A in Mannerheimintie and stop at the Aurora Hospital, just 200 meters from Hostel Stadion. From Silja Line or Linda Line ferries, take the tram 3 B or T to the Aurora Hospital and then the Hostel Stadion is simply a 500 meter walk away. From the Viking Line, Nordic Jet Line or Sea Wind ferries, take the tram 4, and stop at the "Toolon Halli", from where it is a 400 meter walk to the hostel. From the Tallink or Eckero Line ferries, take the bus 15 to Ruoholahti metro station, and change there to tram 8, and stop at the Opera House, from where it is a 500 meter walk to the hostel. For those who arriving by car there are plenty of free parking places and bicycles can be stored in the garage.
